Dear Eagle Families, Have you voted? There is only one week left!
You can make history by voting in the Education Council Elections.
You will need to sign into your NYC Schools Account at mystudent.nyc in order to vote. When you login, you will see a notification in a GREEN BOX that says "VOTE TODAY." A full list of candidates and links to candidate videos can be found when you reach the voting ballot page.
How to vote
If you do not have an account and want to vote, it’s not too late! Click here to sign up for your NYC Schools Account. If you need help signing up to NYCSA please reply to this email and I will give you your Account Activation Code.

Meet the Candidates Running for Community Education Council

For the first time since the inception of Community Education Councils (2004) all parents with a child in PreK-8th grade attending a school in District 23 will be able to vote for the CEC Members through their New York City Schools Account (NYCSA). Voting will run from May 1 - May 11, 2021.

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
We will be kicking off our Spring Fundraiser from March 8th through April 5th. Orders and payments will be done virtually. Pick up will be on April 21st at the school.
You can either send the order form to the PTA via email or use the google form link below to order. All payments will need to go to the PTA cashapp ($eagleacademypta) or Paypal (eagleacademybkpta@gmail.com)

District 23 is looking for 100% enrollment for the NYC School Account. Therefore, the PTA will have a Raffle at the April’s PTA Meeting. For every parent that has created an account by March 31st will be entered into the raffle.

The CCEC Elections season officially opened TODAY with the candidate application going live. The District is excited and look forward to parents from across the city stepping up to Run.Serve.Lead

The Elections Outreach team will be hosting daily Information Sessions to provide interested families with information on Education Councils and the importance of NYCSA. Please share THIS week’s sessions attached flyers (English and Spanish) with your schools for distribution to their families, and to the greater community.
